Hornbill ESP - Web Services API
The Hornbill ESP Application Platform provides a standards-compliant web services API using XML, XML Schema and JSON. All available API's are documented and described within these pages. The service operations can be invoked from any application or development environment where XML and HTTP are supported.

client | This service provides the operations used by the client applications. |
data | This service provides the operations needed to query, access and update and insert data from the system and application databases managed by Hornbill ESP. All operations for this service require an established session created using credentials with appropriate rights assigned. |

file | PRELIMINARY: APIs and their interface in this service can change. This service provides operations gives you acces to file sharing capabilites. |
indexer | This service provides operations that allow you to interact with the Index feature of Hornbill ESP: it is possible to manage an index and search it. |
library | This service provides the operations needed to work with the document library. |
This service provides operations that allow you to interact with the e-mail feature and the address books within the mail system of Hornbill ESP. | |

reporting | Exposes reporting operations. |
session | This service provides the operations needed to establish a new session, close an existing session, obtain session information and other session related actions. |
system | This service provides a number of system-related operations. |
task | This service provides an interface for working with tasks. Tasks are units of work that require a human to action. Tasks are assigned to individuals or a group of individuals. |
time | This service provides the operations needed to support time related functions for service level management. |
utility | This service provides various utility operations that are considered generally useful functions for a diverse range of line-of-business applications. |
